Dear Parents,
I am very pleased to welcome you to our wonderful Maclay School and I invite you to join our Maclay community through the variety of events and volunteer opportunities hosted by the Maclay Parent Organization (MPO).
The MPO’s Steering Committee holds monthly business meetings and encourages parents to attend and share ideas. Learn more about the school and take part in your child’s education by joining a committee; you will play an active role in enhancing our school and have great fun at the same time! In addition to these volunteer opportunities, the MPO hosts many school-wide functions each year. For instance, MPO hosts Welcome Back Coffees, Spaghetti Supper, Doughnuts for Dads, Father/Daughter Valentines Dance, Grandparents Day, Senior Mothers Brunch and a Veterans Day Coffee. Each is a great way to get involved with Maclay and the Maclay Family. Please email us at MPO@maclay.org.
As a Maclay alumna (‘85) I am proud to hold this position with our parents organization. Students at Maclay School not only receive an exemplary education, they receive the warmth and support that only family can give; I know that each Maclay student will feel the same warmth and sense of family that I feel long after their graduation day.
